Makkah Education Department Marks International Literacy Day

The Ministry of Education Department in Makkah Region marked today International Literacy Day, themed this year "Promoting Multilingual Education: Literacy for Mutual Understanding and Peace". In Makkah on the occasion, focus was placed on 3,051 students enrolled in 46 adult education schools. The aim was to highlight the crucial role literacy plays in fostering sustainable, just, peaceful, and literate societies.
