Meteorology Department Issues Warning for Reduced Visibility Due to Foggy Conditions

Doha:The Department of Meteorology has issued a warning for reduced visibility on Wednesday morning, as misty to foggy conditions are expected inshore, accompanied by some clouds. Daytime temperatures are expected to be relatively hot.

According to Qatar News Agency, offshore conditions will start misty in some areas before becoming hazy later in the day. Inshore winds will initially be variable, turning mainly northeasterly to easterly at speeds of 5-15 knots. Offshore winds will also be variable, shifting to mainly northeasterly at 2-12 knots.

Sea heights are anticipated to range from 1 to 2 feet inshore and from 1 to 3 feet offshore. Visibility is expected to be between 4 and 9 kilometers inshore, dropping to 2 kilometers or less in some areas at first. Offshore visibility will similarly range from 4 to 9 kilometers, falling to 3 kilometers or less in some areas initially.

Specific tide and temperature information for various areas include high tides in Doha at 02:21 and 14:18, with temperatures ranging from 32 to 37 degrees Celsius. In Dukhan, high tides are expected at 07:06 and 19:15, with temperatures between 27 and 36 degrees Celsius. Messaid will see high tides at 04:05 and 15:53, with temperatures from 28 to 36 degrees Celsius. Other areas such as Wakrah, Al Khor, Ruwais, and Abu Samra have their respective tide times and temperatures, with Al Khor expected to reach a high of 39 degrees Celsius.
