Doha: The Department of Meteorology has issued a weather advisory for conditions expected until 6:00 pm on Wednesday. Inshore areas are projected to experience a relatively hot day with slight dust. The forecast also indicates partly cloudy to cloudy skies at times, with a possibility of light rain. The department has warned of strong winds in certain areas during the day.
According to Qatar News Agency, offshore conditions will feature scattered clouds that may become partly cloudy, with rain possible. Strong winds and high seas are anticipated. The inshore wind is expected to blow from the northeast to northwest at speeds of 5-15 KT, potentially reaching 26 KT during the day.
Offshore winds are forecasted to be northwesterly to northeasterly at 10-18 KT, with occasional gusts reaching 25 KT. The sea state inshore is predicted to be between 2-4 FT, occasionally rising to 5 FT, while offshore conditions are expected to be 3-5 FT, potentially reaching up to 8 FT.
Visibility inshore is anticipated to range from 4-9 KM, while offshore visibility is expected between 5-9 KM.
