Meteorology Predicts Hot Weather with Scattered Clouds and Strong Winds


Doha: Inshore weather until 6:00 pm on Sunday is expected to be hot to very hot in certain areas during the daytime, with intermittent scattered clouds, as reported by the Department of Meteorology in its daily weather update.



According to Qatar News Agency, offshore conditions will similarly experience scattered clouds at intervals. The inshore wind is anticipated to be northwesterly, ranging from 5 to 15 knots, with gusts reaching up to 22 knots during the daytime. Offshore winds will also be northwesterly, maintaining a speed of 5 to 15 knots, and occasionally gusting to 20 knots.



The sea state inshore is predicted to be between 1 to 3 feet, potentially rising to 4 feet at times. In offshore areas, the sea state is forecasted to be between 2 to 4 feet, with possible increases up to 6 feet. Visibility, both inshore and offshore, is expected to range from 5 to 10 kilometers.
