Doha: HE Minister of Commerce and Industry Sheikh Faisal bin Thani bin Faisal Al-Thani participated in the "Qatar Vision 2030" session at the Asian Leaders Conference in Hong Kong, which was organized by Goldman Sachs. The session included several Qatari business leaders and major companies, marking a significant representation from Qatar at the event.
According to Qatar News Agency, HE the Minister took the opportunity to meet with executives from global companies such as China's Xiaomi Corporation and Baidu. The discussions centered on exploring potential cooperation in various fields, including cloud data centers, distribution and supply chain enhancement, robotics technologies, and regional cloud computing services. Additionally, the talks involved reviewing the expansion plans of these companies within the region, indicating a mutual interest in fostering closer business ties and collaboration.
