Doha: HE Minister of Finance, Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari, engaged in multiple discussions with key international figures at the Qatar Economic Forum 2025, themed ‘The Road to 2030: Transforming the Global Economy’. The meetings aimed to explore and enhance economic collaborations.
According to Qatar News Agency, Al Kuwari met with HE Minister of Economy and Planning of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Faisal bin Fadhil Alibrahim. Their discussions revolved around economic interests and the potential for expanding cooperation between the two countries.
In a separate meeting, Al Kuwari conferred with HE Minister of Treasury and Finance of the Republic of Turkiye, Mehmet Simsek. Their dialogue focused on financial and economic partnerships, exploring ways to broaden these joint activities.
Additionally, Al Kuwari held talks with His Grace The Duke of Richmond, Charles Gordon-Lennox, from King’s Trust International. They reviewed mutual cooperation areas and discussed strengthening relations in economy and investment, while also addressing regional and international economic developments.
Further, Al Kuwari met with Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer at Microsoft, Judson Althoff. Their discussion centered on enhancing bilateral cooperation in investment, finance, and economics, along with other shared interests.
