Minister of Labor Leads National Committee Meeting on Human Trafficking Efforts

Doha: HE Minister of Labor Dr. Ali bin Samikh Al Marri, in his role as Chairman of the National Committee for Combating Human Trafficking, chaired the periodic meeting of the Committee on Monday. The meeting focused on reviewing the progress of the National Plan to Combat Human Trafficking for the years 2024-2026. The plan is designed to unify efforts among government entities and civil society organizations in the fight against human trafficking.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Committee discussed various upcoming initiatives, programs, and events aimed at strengthening protection and support mechanisms for victims of human trafficking. These initiatives are part of the broader strategy to enhance the country's response to human trafficking issues.
