Doha: HE Minister of Labour Dr Ali bin Samikh Al Marri engaged with various ministers and international officials on the sidelines of the Second World Summit for Social Development, which wrapped up in Doha on Thursday.
According to Qatar News Agency, Dr Al Marri held discussions with several officials, including HE Minister of Labour and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Arsen Torosyan, and HE Minister in charge of Labour, Employment, Social Protection, and Vocational Training in the Central African Republic Michelle Mouanga. The meetings emphasized strengthening bilateral relations in the field of labour.
Dr Al Marri also met with HE Deputy High Commissioner for Human Rights of the United Nations Nada Al-Nashif. The discussions focused on collaborative efforts to enhance labour standards and human rights practices.
Additionally, Dr Al Marri engaged with HE Minister of Labour and Employment of Lesotho Tseliso Mokhosi, HE Minister of Youth Promotion, Professional Integration, and Service of Cote d’Ivoire Mamadou Toure, and HE Minister of Labour and Social Protection of the Russian Federation Anton Kotyakov. The conversations aimed at exploring ways to support and develop labour relations between the states.
