Minister of Public Health Engages in Bilateral Discussions with Health Counterparts and Gates Foundation Official

Geneva: HE Minister of Public Health Mansoor bin Ebrahim bin Saad Al Mahmoud held a series of separate meetings with his counterparts from Algeria, Morocco, Lebanon, Mauritania, and Italy. The discussions focused on strengthening bilateral relations in the health sector and addressing key issues highlighted at the World Health Assembly, which is being conducted under the theme "One World for Health."

According to Qatar News Agency, the meetings involved HE Minister of Health of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria Abdelhak Saihi, HE Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Kingdom of Morocco Amine Tahraoui, HE Minister of Public Health of the Republic of Lebanon Dr. Rakan Nassereldine, HE Minister of Health of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania Abdallah Weddih, and HE Minister of Health of the Italian Republic Professor Orazio Schillaci. Each meeting aimed to explore avenues for cooperation and enhancement in the health field.

Additionally, HE Minister of Public Health engaged in a meeting with Dr. Chris Elias, President of Global Development at the Gates Foundation. The discussion focused on promoting cooperation between the State of Qatar and the Gates Foundation to advance health initiatives.
