London: HE Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi met on Tuesday separately with HE UK National Security Advisor Jonathan Powell, HE Minister for the Middle East and North Africa at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office Hamish Faulkner, and HE Minister for International Development at the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office Baroness Jenny Chapman.
According to Qatar News Agency, the meetings focused on enhancing bilateral relations and explored recent developments in the region. A particular emphasis was placed on mediation efforts between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
During these discussions, HE the Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar's comprehensive support for the ongoing mediation efforts aimed at addressing the crisis's root causes. The goal is to achieve a sustainable agreement through peaceful means and dialogue, helping to prevent any renewed escalation.
