Doha: HE Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi met on Wednesday with HE Federal Minister for European and International Affairs of the Republic of Austria, Beate Meinl-Reisinger. The meeting focused on the cooperation relations between the two countries and explored ways to support and strengthen these ties. Discussions also covered a number of issues of mutual interest, including the humanitarian situation in Gaza, developments in Syria and Lebanon, and the importance of supporting efforts to bring security and stability in the region.
According to Qatar News Agency, HE the Federal Minister for European and International Affairs of Austria expressed appreciation for the State of Qatar's role as a reliable mediator in fostering dialogue and diplomacy. Her Excellency commended Qatar's efforts in encouraging peaceful solutions and its significant role in the release of Austrian hostages around the world.
