New york: HE Minister of State for International Cooperation and Vice Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD), Dr. Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad, was present at the signing of a basic contribution agreement between QFFD and the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD). The signing took place on the sidelines of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
According to Qatar News Agency, the agreement was co-signed by HE Director-General of QFFD Fahad bin Hamad Al Sulaiti and HE President of IFAD Alvaro Lario. The primary goal of the agreement is to support agricultural projects in developing countries and to economically empower their communities.
