Geneva: HE Minister of State for International Cooperation Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad met Tuesday with HE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the State of Palestine, Dr. Varsen Aghabekian Shahin, on the sidelines of the 58th session of the Human Rights Council.
According to Qatar News Agency, the two officials discussed cooperative relations between their countries and explored ways to support and enhance these relations. They also focused on the latest developments in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories, particularly the flow of humanitarian aid to the Strip. The discussions also highlighted the State of Qatar's joint mediation efforts that led to a ceasefire agreement in Gaza, among other topics of common interest.
