Doha: In cooperation with Qatar Television, the Ministry of Justice launched a program under the title of "Rule of Law," as part of a partnership aimed at enhancing legal culture and spreading awareness of rights, duties, and legal procedures related to the daily lives of citizens and residents.
According to Qatar News Agency, the program's first season consists of 16 episodes featuring simplified, interactive legal content presented by legal professionals, lawyers, academics, experts, and specialists. The initiative seeks to make legal concepts more accessible and provide reliable legal information in a clear manner, addressing topics relevant to the community.
The range of topics covered includes patient rights and legal responsibilities in healthcare, tenancy and real estate issues, contracts and agencies, labor and employment rights, and matters of family, personal status, and inheritance. Additionally, consumer protection, financial obligations, and commercial transactions will be discussed.
The program will also tackle issues associated with digital transformation, such as cybersecurity, digital extortion, privacy and personal data collection, and the safe use of social media. Further discussions will cover insurance, loans, mortgages, and dispute resolution through mediation and arbitration, alongside children's rights, family protection, and legal liabilities in business activities.
By providing the public with opportunities to ask questions and discuss legal issues, the initiative aims to foster communication between specialists and community members. This program underscores the Ministry of Justice's commitment to enhancing legal awareness and fostering respect for the law, in alignment with the Qatar National Vision 2030, which seeks to build a society founded on justice, knowledge, and the rule of law.
