Doha: Under the patronage of HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, the Ministry of Justice is set to launch its new strategic plan for 2025-2030 at Al Majlis Hall in the Sheraton Doha Hotel. The strategic plan, themed 'Towards an Integrated Justice System,' aims to advance the legal sector in the country, enhance judicial services, and strengthen partnerships within the legal and judicial community.
According to Qatar News Agency, the new strategy is designed to align with the Qatar National Vision 2030, focusing on developing a robust legal and judicial system. The Ministry has crafted the strategy with an ambitious vision to position Qatar as a model in judicial and legal systems by 2030. This comprehensive framework aims to offer advanced legal services and create an integrated judicial system.
The strategic plan emphasizes institutional values to achieve its vision, with initiatives that align each axis with the pillars of the Qatar National Vision 2030. Strategic initiatives have been developed to implement the main axes, along with performance indicators to measure progress and compare it with the strategic objectives.
The Ministry of Justice aims to enhance the justice system, improve transparency and efficiency, and leverage modern technologies to offer comprehensive public services. The strategy seeks to improve the judicial system, enhance legal service quality, support investments, and promote economic diversification. It also focuses on governance, strategic partnerships, and public benefit for the legal sector.
Additionally, the plan prioritizes developing national legal competencies and human capabilities, in line with the human pillar of the Qatar National Vision 2030. It seeks to create an interactive work environment centered around leadership, innovation, continuous education, and responsibility. The plan includes opportunities for practical training for lawyers, experts, arbitrators, real estate brokers, and law students to enhance their skills and professional readiness.
