Ministry of Transport Engages as Strategic Partner in Qatar Boat Show 2025

Doha: The Ministry of Transport (MOT) is participating in the Qatar Boat Show 2025 as a Strategic Partner. The event, which runs through November 8 at the Old Doha Port, features numerous local and international entities specializing in maritime industries and services.

According to Qatar News Agency, the MOT’s presence at the show includes a booth that highlights the ministry’s digital maritime services, accessible via the Darb application. This app enables users to perform various tasks such as registering new small crafts, renewing registrations, modifying craft specifications, and obtaining replacements for lost or damaged documents. Additionally, users have the option to request document deliveries through Qatar Post.

The booth also presented a mockup of the main station for the water taxi project in Lusail, featuring a visual presentation on its facilities. This project aims to offer modern waterborne public transit systems utilizing eco-friendly technologies. Visitors to the booth can participate in competitions that focus on maritime safety awareness.

The MOT booth attracted significant attention, with visitors keen to learn about the ministry’s digital services and forward-looking transportation projects, aligned with the MOT Strategy 2025-2030 and the goals of the Qatar National Vision 2030. The MOT remains committed to supporting national events that enhance Qatar’s reputation as a leading regional hub for maritime transportation and logistics services.
