Doha: The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE) held the award ceremony of the third Student Awareness Competition Talks (SACT), in collaboration with the US Embassy in Doha. The event celebrated the achievements of participants in a public speaking contest, with recognition given to winners in a ceremony attended by HE MoEHE's Undersecretary Dr. Ibrahim bin Saleh Al Nuaimi, MoEHE's Assistant Undersecretary for Educational Affairs Maha Zayed Al Qaqaa Al Ruwaili, and HE US Ambassador in Doha Timmy Davis.
According to Qatar News Agency, Al Ruwaili emphasized the significance of the robust partnership between the MoEHE and the US Embassy, which has facilitated the development of numerous educational programs. This year's competition focused on the theme of embracing change for Qatar 2030, exploring sub-themes such as community engagement, building inclusive communities for people with disabilities, and digital advocacy.
Al Ruwaili further noted that the competition provided a vital platform for students to enhance their public speaking skills and boost their self-confidence. It also aimed to encourage critical and creative thinking, helping students to develop their abilities and prepare for future academic and professional challenges.
