Doha: The Ministry of Interior (MOI) announced the suspension of a decision to extend all types of expired or nearly expired entry visas, effective Sunday, June 7.
According to Qatar News Agency, the MOI stated that standard procedures and guidelines approved for all types of entry visas-including validity periods and applicable fees-would resume from that date. The ministry urged all residents, visitors, and stakeholders to regularize their status by renewing their visas, paying the prescribed fees within the specified periods, or leaving the country upon the expiration of their visas to avoid legal penalties linked to overstaying.
