Moroccan Authorities Rescues 190 Irregular Migrants in Atlantic Ocean

The Moroccan authorities announced on Tuesday the rescue of 190 irregular migrants off the country’s Atlantic coast all of them from sub-Saharan Africa.

In a statement, the Royal Navy said its units charged with monitoring the coast intercepted in the territorial waters in the south of the country between Tan-Tan and Dakhla boats carrying a total of 190 irregular migrants including 11 women. It explained that these immigrants were transferred to nearby Moroccan ports before handing them over to the royal gendarmerie to carry out the administrative procedures in force.
