Moscow Airports Resume Operations Following Drone Attacks

Moscow: Operations resumed this morning at Moscow's four major airports following a temporary suspension prompted by drone attacks. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said in a post on Telegram that air defense systems had intercepted and destroyed 59 drones, without specifying their origin.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that its air defense systems intercepted 301 Ukrainian drones overnight across several Russian regions, including the Moscow region.

The developments come amid continued exchanges of drone attacks between Russia and Ukraine as the conflict, which began in February 2022, shows no signs of abating.
