Doha: The Ministry of Transport (MOT) has announced the suspension of maritime navigation and vessel leasing, including tourist, recreational, fishing, jet skis, and similar vessels, in the area extending from Hamad International Airport (HIA) to the waterfront of the Fairmont Hotel in Lusail City. This suspension will begin at 6:00 AM on Tuesday and continue until 10:00 AM on Friday, November 7, 2025.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Ministry stated that this decision aligns with Qatar's hosting of the Second World Summit for Social Development. The suspension is part of national measures intended to support security and public safety during the event.
The Ministry stressed the importance of compliance with the issued instructions by all relevant entities and individuals to ensure the success of both national and international events taking place in the country.
