Manama, Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak, Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture, met Emmanuelle Soubeyran, Deputy head of the French General Directorate for Food at the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Sovereignty, Chief Veterinary Officer and France’s delegate to the World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH).
The meeting discussed cooperation in areas related to animal health.
The minister emphasised the importance of such meetings in enhancing cooperation to further programmes and initiatives related to livestock.
He noted the important role of WOAH and the kingdom’s readiness to actively support all its programmes and activities.
Dr. Soubeyran affirmed the importance of enhancing relations with member states through communication to address their needs, challenges and ways to enhance cooperation to achieve strategic goals.
