Doha: The Muslim World League welcomed the Human Rights Council’s unanimous adoption of a resolution on the serious human rights repercussions of the Iranian aggression against the State of Qatar, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the State of Kuwait, the Sultanate of Oman, the United Arab Emirates, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
According to Qatar News Agency, in a statement on behalf of the councils, assemblies, and bodies of the Muslim World League, Secretary-General of the Muslim World League and Chairman of the Council of Muslim Scholars Dr. Mohammad bin Abdulkarim Al Issa commended the stance of the Human Rights Council. He highlighted its unequivocal condemnation of the Iranian aggression and its demand for an immediate cessation, along with a guarantee of accountability for the actions, especially considering the violations and repercussions on human rights resulting from it, not only in the region but globally.
Al Issa emphasized that the unanimous adoption of the resolution sends a clear message to the Iranian regime about the unified international stance rejecting and condemning its attacks under false pretenses.
