MWL Hopes Sharm El Sheikh Summit Outcomes to End War in Gaza

Doha: The Muslim World League (MWL) has expressed its hope for the outcomes of the Sharm El Sheikh Peace Summit, hosted by Egypt, to end the war in the Gaza Strip. In a statement, MWL Secretary-General Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al Issa, expressed his hope that the summit's outcomes will contribute to alleviating the humanitarian catastrophe suffered by the people of Gaza, ensuring the complete withdrawal of the occupying government's forces, ensuring the rapid and sufficient flow of aid to the stricken Strip, and promoting the two-state solution in accordance with international legitimacy resolutions and the New York Declaration for a peaceful settlement of the Palestinian issue.

According to Qatar News Agency, the two-state solution, whose international efforts were led by Saudi Arabia in partnership with France, is the only way to establish a lasting, comprehensive, and just peace in the region.
