Nepal: The Nepalese Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that at least 590 foreigners from 39 countries remain missing following the devastating floods that struck Nepal last week.
According to Qatar News Agency, the ministry confirmed that more than 10,000 people, including over 323 foreigners, were rescued during the floods. The ministry added that approximately 590 foreign nationals from 39 countries are still unaccounted for.
Earlier today, the death toll from the mudslides and floods that swept through several regions of Nepal rose to 903. In addition, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority reported that 4,247 people remain missing.
