The Ninth Conference of Human Rights Officials of the Arab Ministries of Interior has called upon member states to take necessary measures to increase the effective participation of civil society and its institutions in the fight against crime.
In the final recommendations released by the Secretariat General of the Arab Interior Ministers Council today, the conference urged member states to launch additional programs aimed at raising security awareness among different segments of society. This would enhance communication between police agencies and members of the community, contributing to a decrease in crime rates and prevention efforts.
Furthermore, the conference recommended that member states share their experiences in the field of human rights with the Secretariat General of the Arab Bureau for Security Awareness, Information, and Human Rights.
