Barcelona: The Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) and the Caribbean Association of National Olympic Committees (CANOC) have signed an agreement aimed at fostering closer sporting ties between Asia and the Caribbean. OCA President, HE Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani, and CANOC President Keith Joseph represented their respective organizations in the signing ceremony held in Barcelona, Spain.
According to Qatar News Agency, the agreement outlines several key areas of cooperation, including the exchange of expertise in organizing sports events, athlete development, and leveraging sports expertise. Additionally, the agreement includes plans for organizing joint scientific sports seminars and conferences, promoting knowledge sharing and collaboration between the two regions.
