Qalqilya: Israeli occupation forces raided the city of Qalqilya in the occupied West Bank early Friday morning, according to the Palestinian news agency WAFA. Local sources reported that several military vehicles entered the city from its eastern entrance, with soldiers positioning snipers on the rooftops of various buildings.
According to Qatar News Agency, the occupation forces also stormed multiple homes and residential buildings across several neighborhoods in Qalqilya. This raid is part of an ongoing pattern of Israeli incursions into West Bank towns, villages, and refugee camps, as well as occupied East Jerusalem. These incursions often result in confrontations, arrests, and the use of live and rubber bullets, along with tear gas against Palestinian residents. The frequency and intensity of these raids have escalated amid the unprecedented, ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza, which has persisted for over a year.
