Gaza: The Media Observatory of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) reported on Tuesday that the catastrophic humanitarian situation facing infants in Gaza Strip, along with ongoing settler attacks on villages in West Bank, are among the most prominent crimes committed by Israeli occupation against Palestinians - totaling over 3,000 violations in the span of a single week.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Observatory revealed that the number of Palestinians martyred by Israeli occupation forces between October 7, 2023, and June 30, 2025, surpassed 58,000, with more than 142,000 others injured. During this period, five schools were targeted in Israeli occupation airstrikes, as well as a crowded marketplace on Yafa Street and a beachfront restaurant in Gaza City. In just one week, 536 Palestinians were martyred, and 2,116 were injured by Israeli occupation military operations.
The statement added that, according to Palestinian reports, at least 580 Palestinians have been martyred while trying to obtain food.
On the humanitarian front, the Observatory reported that 66 infants died from malnutrition in Gaza since October 7, 2023, while 70,000 newborns are currently suffering from severe health complications due to chronic malnutrition. No infant vaccinations have entered Gaza in the past four months.
In occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem, Israeli occupation forces carried out 279 incursions, killing one child and arresting nine others among a total of 216 Palestinian detainees.
Although the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque have been reopened, Israeli forces continue to bar Waqf employees from entering the Haram al-Sharif, while settler incursions into the mosque compound persist.
The report also documented 15 Israeli occupation settlement-related activities across West Bank towns and villages, including land confiscation orders in Masafer Yatta and the area between 'Ibei Hanahal' and 'Ma'ale Amos' settlements near Bethlehem. Additionally, the OIC Observatory recorded 70 settler attacks on Palestinian towns and villages in just one week.
