Doha: Early Tuesday morning, oil prices in Asia rose on supply concerns. Brent crude futures increased by 55 cents or 0.85% to reach $65.18 per barrel. US West Texas Intermediate Crude also saw an uptick, climbing 59 cents or 0.94% to $63.11 per barrel, following a rise of approximately 1% in the previous session.
According to Qatar News Agency, both contracts experienced nearly a 3% increase the day before. This surge followed an OPEC+ decision to limit the increase in production for July to 411,000 barrels a day. The production cap was lower than market expectations and mirrored the production rise seen in previous months.
