Muscat: Oman’s Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi held talks Sunday with his Jordanian counterpart Ayman Al Safadi, who is visiting Muscat for official discussions on strengthening ties between the two countries.
According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting focused on ways to enhance bilateral cooperation across various fields, reflecting the steadily growing relationship between Oman and Jordan. The two ministers also exchanged views on regional and international developments, with particular emphasis on the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories.
Both sides stressed the need to halt escalation, protect civilians, and intensify efforts to support a political process aimed at achieving a comprehensive and just solution that guarantees the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.
