Beirut: One person was killed Thursday in an Israeli airstrike targeting southern Lebanon.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Public Health Emergency Operations Center (PHEOC) of the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health stated that an Israeli drone strike targeted a car in Aita Al-Shaab, located in the Bint Jbeil district of southern Lebanon, resulting in the death of one individual.
A ceasefire agreement in southern Lebanon went into effect on November 27, mandating the withdrawal of Israeli forces from border villages and towns within 60 days. However, the occupation army remained at five points and continued its violations.
