Frun: One person was killed in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a car on the outskirts of the town of Frun in southern Lebanon on Friday.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Lebanese National News Agency reported that one person was killed in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a car on the outskirts of the town.
The agency also noted that Israeli drones were conducting intensive flights over the western and central sectors of southern Lebanon, reaching as far north as the city of Tyre and its surrounding areas.
It is worth noting that a ceasefire agreement in southern Lebanon came into effect on November 27 of last year, stipulating the withdrawal of Israeli forces from border villages and towns in southern Lebanon within 60 days.
Following this, the Beirut government agreed to extend the deadline until February 18 of this year. However, the Israeli army remains in five locations and continues its violations, having committed over 7,000 airspace violations and more than 2,400 military activities in the UNIFIL area of operations since last November.
