Hanoi:OpenAI has unveiled Intelligent UI in ChatGPT, a new feature that integrates text, visuals, and interactive elements into the AI's responses.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Intelligent UI is powered by OpenAI's newly developed GPT-6 models, which enable the AI to generate graphics, diagrams, charts, and interactive tools directly within conversations. This feature is designed to enhance user experience by determining when visual or interactive elements can provide clearer or more useful answers.
The GPT-6 models have been trained to decide on the most suitable content, layout, and level of interactivity for each response, recognizing when a simple text answer suffices. Intelligent UI can also create functional tools like retirement savings calculators and bill-splitting options during a conversation, allowing users to engage with these interactive elements.
OpenAI highlights that Intelligent UI operates on a library of native, streamable components and a compiler for generating interfaces. This ensures that interactive elements can load progressively, enhancing the user experience by not requiring the entire response to be ready at once.
The launch of Intelligent UI aligns with the broader release of GPT-6 in ChatGPT. GPT-6 Sol is available for Plus, Pro, Business, and Enterprise users, while GPT-6 Luna caters to Free and Go users. The rollout began on Wednesday for Plus, Pro, Business, and Enterprise users, with Free and Go users gaining access on Thursday. Enterprise access is dependent on individual workplace settings.
