Islamabad: Pakistani Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and his Norwegian counterpart, Espen Barth Eide, discussed regional and international developments of mutual concern. During their meeting in Islamabad, the two ministers also reviewed bilateral relations and ways to strengthen them, reaffirming their shared commitment to further enhancing cooperation in all areas, particularly trade, investment, climate change, and renewable energy.
According to Qatar News Agency, Ishaq Dar briefed his Norwegian counterpart on Islamabad's diplomatic efforts to encourage dialogue, de-escalate tensions, and reach a peaceful resolution to the conflict between the United States and Iran, highlighting Pakistan's role in the negotiations between the two countries.
