Ramallah:The State of Palestine has issued a strong condemnation of the attack on the liquefied natural gas (LNG) carrier Al Mayeda, which is owned by Qatar Gas Transport Company (Nakilat), in the Arabian Gulf waters. The incident has been described as a dangerous assault that poses a threat to regional security and stability, maritime navigation, and global energy supplies.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Palestine has expressed its full solidarity with the State of Qatar. The ministry has voiced its complete support for all measures taken by Qatar to protect its assets and vessels, as well as to safeguard its interests.
The Ministry further emphasized its absolute rejection of any actions that could undermine the security, stability, and prosperity of Arab nations.
