Palestinian Casualties in Israeli Shelling Increase Tensions in Gaza

Gaza: A Palestinian was killed and two others were wounded Sunday as a result of shelling and gunfire by Israeli occupation forces in the northern and southern Gaza Strip.

According to Qatar News Agency, medical sources reported that a Palestinian was killed in an Israeli shelling of the Al-Amal neighborhood, west of Khan Younis city in the southern Gaza Strip. Additionally, a girl sustained injuries in the Jabalia refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip, and a young man was wounded by occupation fire in the Al-Tuam area, northwest of Gaza City.

Yesterday, four Palestinians lost their lives and several others were injured due to shelling and gunfire by occupation forces in various areas of the Gaza Strip. The ongoing violence has led to a significant rise in the death toll. Since October 7, 2023, the aggression by Israeli occupation forces against the Gaza Strip has resulted in 73,449 martyrs and 174,472 wounded.
