Palestinian Casualty and Shelling Reported in Central Gaza

Gaza:A Palestinian was killed and others were wounded on Friday due to gunfire by Israeli forces in the central Gaza Strip.

According to Qatar News Agency, Israeli forces fired live ammunition at civilians situated east of the Al-Masdar area, as well as Al-Maghazi and Al-Bureij refugee camps. The gunfire resulted in the death of a Palestinian who was struck in the neck.

Additionally, Israeli forces conducted artillery shelling northeast of the Al-Bureij camp and east of Deir al-Balah. In southern Gaza, Israeli tanks fired heavily toward the Bani Suheila roundabout, east of Khan Yunis.

The violence follows a prior incident on Thursday, where Israeli airstrikes and shelling across various parts of the Gaza Strip resulted in the deaths of eight Palestinians, including women and children, and left dozens wounded.

Despite a ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel that took effect last October, Israeli forces have continued to breach it through airstrikes, artillery shelling, and heavy gunfire targeting various areas in Gaza.
