Palestinian Foreign Ministry Calls for Urgent International Action to Halt Israeli Occupation Crimes

Doha: The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs today renewed its call for the international community to take urgent and effective action, compelling the Israeli occupation to halt its aggression on the West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem, amidst ongoing crimes and the systematic destruction of means of life, and to achieve a sustainable ceasefire in Gaza Strip.

According to Qatar News Agency, in a statement, the ministry noted that the occupation is committing the crime of forced displacement of more than 30,000 Palestinian citizens from their homes, along with the demolition of infrastructure, destruction of homes, and altering the features of Palestinian camps. It also highlighted the military incursions into Palestinian towns, camps, and cities across the West Bank, which are accompanied by destruction, tampering with homes, terrorizing civilians, including children and women, arbitrary mass arrests, and the stripping of basic civil freedoms, including the freedom of movement within their own land, in the ugliest forms of colonial apartheid systems.

The ministry called on the international community to take strong and genuine action to halt the ongoing aggression against the Palestinian people, stressing that mere condemnations or expressions of concern are insufficient, pointing out that international silence on these crimes encourages the occupation to persist in committing further atrocities and provides it with the time needed to complete its ethnic cleansing, displacement, and annexation crimes.
