Palestinian Foreign Ministry Urges International Community to Work on Upholding Ceasefire in Gaza

Ramallah: The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs urged the international community to take real measures to curb the Israeli occupation's aggression against the Palestinian people and their rights, in a way that ensures the upholding of ceasefire and a final end to the war of extermination, annexation, and displacement in the Gaza Strip.

According to Qatar News Agency, in a statement, the ministry condemned the incitement issued by the members of the occupation government to resume the war of extermination and displacement against the Palestinian people, and to persist in the ongoing war of annexation of the land of the State of Palestine under flimsy pretexts and excuses.

The ceasefire agreement between Hamas and the Israeli occupation entered into force on Jan. 19, ending the war waged by the occupation forces on the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7, 2023.
