Palestinian Ministry Condemns Israeli Airstrikes in Gaza

Accra:The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has condemned a recent Israeli air campaign in the Gaza Strip that resulted in the deaths of five Palestinians, including four women, and injuries to others. The Ministry's statement highlighted the continued targeting of Palestinians, describing the attack as part of a relentless campaign of war crimes and crimes against humanity.

According to Qatar News Agency, The Ministry called on the international community to enforce accountability mechanisms to halt impunity and ensure the protection of civilians. It urged global action to compel Israel to withdraw from Gaza, facilitate uninterrupted humanitarian aid, and create conditions for recovery and reconstruction. Additionally, it stressed the importance of ending the unlawful occupation and securing Palestinian independence and self-determination.

The statement criticized Israel's ongoing military actions, rejection of ceasefire agreements, and obstruction of aid deliveries. It emphasized the need for the U.S. administration to intervene decisively to curb these acts and ensure compliance with ceasefire provisions.

Palestinian National Council President Rawhi Fattouh condemned the attack, noting that the victims included a Christian mother, her daughter, and an academic. He asserted that these actions demonstrate indiscriminate targeting based on Palestinian identity, regardless of religion, age, or profession, challenging narratives that portray the aggression as targeting specific groups.
