Palestinian PM and Dutch FM Discuss Strengthening Bilateral Relations and Regional Developments


Ramallah: Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa met with Dutch Foreign Minister David van Wyl to discuss ways to strengthen relations between the two countries and the latest developments in the Palestinian arena.



According to Qatar News Agency, the Palestinian Prime Minister emphasized the need to intensify international pressure on Israel to halt its actions in the West Bank, including attacks by occupation forces and settlers, and to remove checkpoints and obstacles. He also highlighted the importance of releasing withheld Palestinian funds and continuing efforts to solidify the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.



The Dutch Foreign Minister affirmed his country’s support for efforts to solidify the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, facilitate the entry of humanitarian aid, and halt Israeli actions in the occupied West Bank. He also stressed the importance of restoring unity between the Gaza Strip and the West Bank within the framework of achieving a two-state solution.
