Perennial Trees Enhance the Natural Beauty of Al-Baha Region

Al-Baha region stands out as an area that tourists like to visit due to its breathtaking nature. Now, after the recent summer rains in the region, waterfalls, lakes, grasses, trees, green lands and captivating wildlife make it all the more attractive and vibrant. Heavy monsoon rains are the most important source of irrigation and help boost the vegetation cover in the region, whose forests are dominated by perennial trees such as juniper, wild olive, sidr, sweet acacia, and tamarix.
