Jeddah, PhD student Wid bint Mohammad Al-Rashidi, at the faculty of science at King Abdulaziz University, won third place in the 2024 Merck Summer Innovation Cup, held in Darmstadt, Germany. The platform can be utilized in research and treatment. Al-Rashidi won third place by participating with the "Synthetic Biology Team," outperforming seven competing teams from various countries around the world.
