Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani engaged in a phone call with HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman Badr bin Hamad bin Hamood Albusaidi. The conversation focused on the cooperation relations between the two nations and explored ways to support and enhance them.
According to Qatar News Agency, the dialogue also delved into Pakistani mediation efforts between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran. The ministers discussed the possibility of coordinating their efforts to bolster mediation initiatives aimed at reducing regional escalation. This approach is intended to contribute to enhancing security and stability within the region.
During the call, HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs emphasized the importance of all parties responding positively to the ongoing mediation efforts. Such cooperation could pave the way for addressing the crisis's root causes through peaceful dialogue, potentially leading to a sustainable agreement that would prevent future escalations.
