Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Holds Talks with Egypt’s Prime Minister

Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani met on Monday with HE Prime Minister of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, who is visiting Doha to attend the Second World Summit for Social Development, hosted by the State of Qatar from November 4 to 6.

According to Qatar News Agency, during the meeting, the two leaders discussed the bilateral relations between their countries and explored avenues to enhance cooperation. The discussions also included an exchange of views on the current situation in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories, particularly in light of the ceasefire agreement in the Strip. Various other issues of mutual concern were also on the agenda.

HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs emphasized the importance of unified regional and international efforts to ensure the ceasefire agreement is fully implemented, aiming to establish lasting peace and stability in the region.
