Prime Minister of Qatar and India’s External Affairs Minister Discuss Bilateral Relations

Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani met with HE Minister of External Affairs of the Republic of India, Dr. Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, who is visiting the country.

According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting focused on discussing bilateral relations and exploring ways to support and develop them, particularly in the economic field. The leaders also addressed regional developments and their impact on the global economy and energy markets, alongside other issues of common interest.

Both sides underscored the importance of resolving disputes and conflicts through dialogue and diplomatic means, emphasizing that such approaches contribute to strengthening security and stability at both regional and international levels.

They agreed to continue enhancing cooperation on several priority issues for the State of Qatar and the Republic of India by activating joint working mechanisms and bilateral committees between the two countries.
