Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani met with HE Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, Masrour Barzani, who is currently visiting Qatar. The meeting focused on exploring avenues for cooperation and development between the two regions, alongside discussions on topics of mutual interest.
According to Qatar News Agency, HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs emphasized Qatar’s commitment to enhancing cooperative prospects with the Kurdistan Region of Iraq across various sectors, in alignment with mutual interests. He underscored the deep-rooted historical and fraternal bonds between Qatar and the Republic of Iraq, commending the robust consultation and coordination efforts between the two nations on both regional and international platforms to bolster global peace and security.
