Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani received a phone call from HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran Dr. Abbas Araghchi. During their conversation, they discussed the outcomes of the third round of negotiations between the United States and Iran, held in Geneva, Switzerland. Both parties affirmed the continuation of these negotiations.
According to Qatar News Agency, HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar's support for efforts to reduce tensions and achieve peaceful resolutions, aiming to enhance security and stability in the region. His Excellency stressed the importance of coordinated efforts to spare regional populations from the consequences of escalation. He emphasized the need for continued collaboration with neighboring and friendly countries to resolve differences through diplomatic channels.
