Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani recently engaged in a phone call with the Egyptian Prime Minister, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly. During the call, HE the Prime Minister extended his condolences to Dr. Mostafa Madbouly on the passing of his father, Major General Kamal Madbouly.
According to Qatar News Agency, the conversation also covered the enhancement of bilateral cooperation between Qatar and Egypt. Both leaders discussed various aspects of their countries' partnership and explored ways to strengthen their cooperation further. Additionally, they exchanged views on regional developments, focusing on the ceasefire between the United States and Iran. The leaders emphasized the importance of efforts aimed at de-escalation to support security and stability in the region.
